Our History: A Legacy of Vision
Upasana English Medium School was founded with a singular,
noble objective: to bring high-quality, English-medium education to the heart
of Jhalda. Recognizing the need for a premier residential institution in the
Purulia district, the Upasana Trust established this school to bridge
the gap between rural roots and global opportunities.
From our humble beginnings, we have grown into a leading CBSE-pattern
institution. Our journey has been defined by a commitment to the community and
a relentless pursuit of academic rigor. Under the guidance of our leadership,
including Principal Mr. Goutam Kumar Chakraborty, the school has evolved
